The drill bits used are of very high quality and with normal use will last Season, after Season, after Season...But if dropped on hard surface or inadvertently hitting hard object embedded in the tree, don't let it ruin part of the Season with an out of commission Hand Drill. With the use of an 1/8' punch to disengage the spring pin, your back in business.
