We were very impressed with the quality of the blade both in terms of sharpness, durability and ease with which we were able to saw through even large branches. The blade thickness is 1.2mm with a 3.6mm pitch for the teeth. the blade length is 8". and the overall length is 9 1/4". The teeth are ground with three cutting edges and cuts on the pull stroke. It's constructed of 65Mn Carbon steel which has both great wear resistance and hardness. The handle is made of a high density polymer wrapped in durable rubber for a strong, ergonomic, and sure grip. The blade has two locking positions which assists with sawing branches overhead.
